Progress bar during training

It would be nice to have some sort of progress bar or better feedback during training. At the moment you get a "Starting training" message then next message is after 100 iterations and in between there's no indicator of whether it's working or not.

You can set the log_interval to something lower than 100 as an additional argument. We should have an output after the first iteration thought to show the user that training is really working.
