A very poor installation guide:
This assumes a Fedora 35 installation for example on digitalOcean.

Please use the below instructions on your own risk, this script is very old and probably many security issues ...
It took me a while to get it to work on a more newer linux, feel free to update this if you can find out a better and easier way.

please make sure you edit the domain "chat.ulyaoth.com" within the Hiawatha config file to your domain.
config location: /usr/local/etc/hiawatha/hiawatha.conf
Test if config works:
Hiawatha -k
Start webserver:
/usr/local/sbin/hiawatha
Stop webserver:
cat /usr/local/var/run/hiawatha.pid
kill -15 (number that command gives above)
You also have to update the below file and name the chat to your liking:
/opt/ulyaoth/chat/inc/variables.inc
Change:
$entrytitle = "Ulyaoth Chat - please login";
$title = "chat.ulyaoth.com";
$webmaster = "webmaster\@ulyaoth.com";
$version = ".:: Ulyaoth chat server 1.0 ::.";
Your chat should now run at:
http://"your domain"/cgi-bin/chat.cgi
