Bill Status

At the direction of the U.S. House of Representatives Appropriations Committee, in support of the Legislative Branch Bulk Data Task Force, the Government Publishing Office (GPO), the Library of Congress (LOC), the Clerk of the House, and the Secretary of the Senate have made Bill Status information in XML format available through the GPO’s Bulk Data repository starting with the 108th Congress.

Bill Status XML is available at https://www.govinfo.gov/bulkdata/BILLSTATUS; we run the update job for the current Congress every 4 hours.

Public Meetings

A technical meeting took place on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, from 10:30-12:00 in Washington, D.C., in the Cannon House Office Building conference room on the first floor near Congressman Lance's office (133). The meeting was a follow-up to the December meeting.

REMOTE PARTICIPATION: The Law Library of Congress hosted the BDTF’s April 27th meeting online. This allowed individuals who could not join us in the Cannon House Office Building to attend the meeting remotely. The link to the meeting was https://login.icohere.com/LawLib?pnum=PMD47988. It was available at approximately 10:15 in time for the 10:30 am meeting.
