[Inquiry] Plans to support Alpine Linux in the Go wrapper

Alpine Linux is often used in Kubernetes(k8s) environments. Go is widely used in k8s as well, but the Go wrapper's README indicates that Alpine Linux is not supported.

I'm wondering if there are any plans to add support for Alpine Linux?

My customers have completed the transition to ElastiCache for Valkey and are looking at using Valkey-GLIDE, but alpine linux is a huge blocker, especially for those using Go on k8s.

I would appreciate it if you and contributors could review this as a high priority.

I understand the high priority here. I am evaluating the feasibility as we speak.

In the mean time, could you please let me know the CPU architecture (x86/ARM) of the environment? This could come in handy if we are able to provide an emergency manual hot fix in the near future.

Most are arm, but there're some intel ones too. Often AWS Graviton instances are used.

Update: @alexr-bq will take over the work and consolidate both Go and Java bindings on supporting Alpine/MUSL.

We are aiming release 2.1 which will be released on Sept. 17th. Although this is still WIP. Stay tuned!

Update: PR #4476 is in final review state, and is aiming for release 2.1.
