Overview

A simple chrome extension that lets you search within the YouTube video's transcript to be able to navigate timestamps smoothly.

How to use?

1. Download this zip file: Yt-Transcript-Search-Extension
2. Go to chrome://extensions/
3. Click on "Load unpacked"
4. Select the unzipped folder
5. You should see the extension icon in the top right corner of the browser
6. Click on the extension icon when watching a youtube video to enable the transcript window

Features

• Upon clicking the extension it should load correctly
• Upon switching between videos the transcript should corresponding to the right video and tim`estamps should be navigable
• Extension should start running on startup and whenever a youtube video url is seen should enable the transcript window
• Supports both light and dark mode
