Once the lookup crate introduced in #7071 is available we want to see it incorporated into VRL. We expect that this will require a great deal of mechanical work. If possible this cut-over should be done gradually, as @FungusHumungus suggests is possible.

chore: Remove unused features (#7076)

* Remove unused features

While I work on #7072 I need to consider where the division lines in
this project are. This commit is a consequence of me taking a look through the
project's Cargo.toml.

Some unused dependencies have been removed, down from 894 linked crates to 828.
