Edit: I found this #394
and you marked it as Out of control but I notice that Tabliss is able to display it.
Or would an external url work? base64 icon also works.

So, my question is: if Edge does not allow to use emojis as favicons but does allow external urls or base64 icons, then could you adjust the extension to allow the user to specify those urls for favicons? (allow to specify the href attribute through the UI with a textbox for example, similar to the New tab text)

Hello @trmdi !

I still haven't fix the black box favicon on Edge... Oops.

I don't remember why we couldn't figure it out. Using a distant URL should definitely be possible.

It is quite low priority right now, but I'll look into it at some point !
