forward buffer length

Hello!

Is there a setting to limit forward buffer length if the video is pausing?
Same behavior as in demo example https://hls-js.netlify.app/demo/basic-usage ?

In my case all the video fragments will de downloaded until the end of the video.
This needs to be done with a custom implementation based on HTMLMediaElement: timeupdate event events ?

Any information is much appreciated

Found a solution in configs. Can be closed. Thanks !
In case someone else has this problem you can se the buffersize prop

For buffer length (seconds) you want to work with these two settings (Buffer size is in bits bytes).

maxBufferLength
maxMaxBufferLength

The player will buffer at least maxbufferlength in seconds and continue up to the current bitrate / maxBufferSize * 8 or maxMaxBufferLength in seconds (whichever comes first).
