I have some proposals to include changes into this pull request (see https://github.com/kruceter/void-packages/tree/ayatana-indicators).
The most notable here is droidcam. I am afraid you have planted a time bomb for others to deal with once the new version for that package is out, so it would be better to properly apply upstream patch for this cause.

libappindicatorhasn't seen a release since 2012 (more than 10 years!)Debian has removed it in buster and switched to libayatana-appindicator.
This PR tries to replace

No revbump needed because not the package but only the template required libappindicator.
