I have been able to successfully run a ModList for the game 7D2D using MO2 with a community-made Plugin and am interested in compiling this into a ModPack for Wabbajack.

Here is the plugin I used:
https://www.nexusmods.com/7daystodie/mods/6124
I placed that unzipped file in D:\MO2\plugins\basic_games\games

Ultimately, I'd like to request assistance in getting this game to work with Wabbajack to expand interest in my ModList. I currently offer it from Vortex, but I think users would prefer Wabbajack if it was supported.

Thanks for showing interest in this.
It might take a bit since releases are currently taking a bit longer due to signing issues.
And there is a UI rework in the works.
But I'll look into gathering the meta data needed for this.

This now still needs the hashes to support sourcing gamefiles for the MO2 folders. (If modding the game requires to mess with the original games files at all, since I don't mod the game I don't know.)

What do you need me to provide?

Actually everything is in place, the thing missing is only required if you need to alter base files of the game. But that requires more work like re-implementing some code from the 2.x Wabbajack era.

Can I create a Wabbajack mod list for 7D2D now, or not yet?

Depends how you install your mods and how you try to use or don't use the base game files installed via steam.

But in theory base support is added.

There are just some features missing that might require workarounds.

When I go to compile the MO2 list, it fails, it says "Cannot find Morrowind". Is it possible the community made plugin used Morrowind as placeholder?

I need a full log a link to the plugin and the WJ version you tried to use.
And I need to know which version of the game you have installed and how the file paths look for it.

Plugin: https://www.nexusmods.com/7daystodie/mods/5624?tab=files

I am unable to paste the modorganizer.ini file. Do I need to change it to .txt?

OOFF Just realized you are using an outdated version of WJ that doesn't support 7Days to die yet.
Support for it was added with 3.7.5.1

okay, I'll update and try again.

Is it possible to upload an MO2 Global instance modlist to Wabbajack. If not, how can I copy it into a Portable instance?

@EzioTheDeadPoet

No, and there is a guide in the wiki.

Updated to Wabbajack v3.7.5.1

Created the Portable mod list in MO2.

In Wabbajack, it actually ran through Compiling, but failed.

Bro sorry do you even know how WJ works ?
You need to have the sources for all the files and link their meta files!
That step is explained in the wiki as well.

I have only ever used it as a user. I am learning now, sorry about that. I'll go back to the wiki.
