URL: https://meet.google.com

Browser / Version: Firefox 102.0
Operating System: Windows 10
Tested Another Browser: Yes Edge

Problem type: Video or audio doesn't play
Description: The video or audio does not play
Steps to Reproduce:
cannot use FF with google meet. in preview, all works - mic, sound, camera. upon joining a meeting, within 30 secs I'm being kicked out with an error: "Couldn't start the video call because of an error". so to be able to join meetings, I have to switch to MS Edge.
Console shows: WebRTC: ICE failed, add a STUN server and see about:webrtc for more details

We appreciate your report. I was not able to reproduce the issue. I was able to join and complete a call, with no issues encountered:

Tested with:

Browser / Version: Firefox Release 102.0.1 (64-bit)
Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64

@enachi Suggestion: Try clearing cache/data/cookies, disabling add-ons and Ad-blocker (if available) and extensions or use a clean profile, and check again? If there are any changes made to the default settings of the browser (e.g. in about:config) please revert to the default settings and try again. Also, have the required cookies been accepted for this page?

The same problem on:

Browser / Version: Firefox 102.0
Operating System: Ubuntu 18.04 x86_64
Tested Another Browser: Opera is working fine

I enter in meeting room, see interlocutors but won't hear any. They also can't hear me. After 10-20 seconds site try to reconnect. After reconnection the cycle repeated.

The problem is not in DOM engine, WebRTC sub-module have troubles with hosts behind symmetrical NAT

What I would do usually to test this kind of issue, is:

  1. Type about:profiles in the url bar.
  2. Choose Create a new profile.
  3. Call it deleteme or anything you please.
  4. Then start it. (this way you will be sure that nothing is interfering, no ghost caching etc.)
  5. Test.

@softvision-raul-bucata thank you, that helped. I also had to "refresh my Firefox" in order to make it work.
