We appreciate your report. I was not able to reproduce the issue. The stream plays, with no issues encountered:

@softvision-raul-bucata please dont close this issue i have been hitting this one some of twitch steams ( not all of them ) even on a clean VM system without any extensions installed [Just logged in twitch]
For example :
If i open related not working stream via this url it is not working
[1] : https://player.twitch.tv/?channel=`TWITCH_STREAMER_NAME`&enableExtensions=true&muted=false&parent=twitch.tv&player=popout&quality=chunked&volume=0.78
but if i open it with this url it works without problem :
[2] : https://player.twitch.tv/?channel=`TWITCH_STREAMER_NAME`&enableExtensions=false&muted=false&parent=twitch.tv&player=popout&quality=chunked&volume=0.78

@softvision-raul-bucata :D you should put streamer channel name to URL which i mentioned as variable TWITCH_STREAMER_NAME
I mean for example if streamer's channel name is raulbucata the url became like
https://player.twitch.tv/?channel=raulbucata&enableExtensions=true&muted=false&parent=twitch.tv&player=popout&quality=chunked&volume=0.78
same in second url

@usta I've checked with a Live stream from dezgamez streamer name.
Both links play the video for me.

[1] : https://player.twitch.tv/?channel=dezgamez&enableExtensions=true&muted=false&parent=twitch.tv&player=popout&quality=chunked&volume=0.78

[2] : https://player.twitch.tv/?channel=dezgamez&enableExtensions=false&muted=false&parent=twitch.tv&player=popout&quality=chunked&volume=0.78

Tested with:
Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 106.0a1 (2022-9-01)
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro

@usta can you point out a streamer for which you experience the issue?

@softvision-oana-arbuzov
At last I find a way to reproduce bug :
1- Open a new profile
2- Change your Settings to LIGHT Theme under Website appearance part
3- Open for example https://www.twitch.tv/nikolarn
4- Everything working perfect
5- Change your Settings to DARK Theme under Website appearance part
6- TADA 🎉 🎉 Now completely white Video

This is proof :

@usta Thanks for the updated info. The issue is indeed reproducible when accessing the stream directly with the "Dark Theme" option enabled from the browser, or by switching the theme from Dark to Light/System Theme/Nightly Theme:

https://media.giphy.com/media/crW1RAUhvW1bHX2bZ1/giphy.gif

Tested with:

Browser / Version: Firefox Release 104.0 (64-bit)/ Firefox Nightly 106.0a1 (2022-09-01) (64-bit) /Chrome Version Version 104.0.5112.102 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64

Notes:

  1. Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP.
  2. Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly
  3. Works as expected using Chrome and Release.

Moving this to Bugzilla in the favor of the above mentioned bug

@softvision-raul-bucata thank you for confirming bug 👍

I dont know the system in here but isnt it might be much better to change title of this issue something more related
and keep this issue open until it fixed on dev channel [ so when you mark other similar bugs duplicated they will atleast learn how to fix their firefox ]

@usta Since the issue is related to the theme feature of the browser, we will close this in favor of the Bugzilla report, where a special repository for issues related to themes handles issues like this.
