firefox : 104.0.2
primevideo : website : video player not working

• Play DRM controlled content is enabled
• No adblocker
• No changes made to default config settings
• Cleared cookies, site data manually : still issue remains
• Uninstalled and Reinstalled firefox : still issue remains
• Turned off enhnaced protection for primevideo : still no luck

Note 1 : disney hotstar video works fine, only prime video has an issue
Note 2 : Installed Google Chrome on same machine and prime video's video runs fine.

Only above 2 plugins are enabled

This is seriously affecting my ability to stream series on prime video on firefox as I don't like google chrome, so please work on this with priority.
Please ping me to get any more information as this is very important issue for me

@shaleenbathla there was an issue in Bugzilla related to Prime videos: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1612407

It could be related to drivers. Could you give it a try with the solution posed https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1612407#c1?

I already have vlc, libcurl installed
I folowed these steps : https://tecadmin.net/install-adobe-flash-player-on-centos-redhat-fedora/ for installing these rpms on Fedora :

• flash-plugin
• alsa-plugins-pulseaudio

If there is any other rpm required, please do tell...

Cleared cookies, login again, tried starting series again. Still no luck
Same issue still remains
Please do tell if i can test anything else

If it had been a driver issue shouldnt it be there on chrome also?
I dont think chrome has some inbuilt drivers?
Also, is there a difference in disney hotstar and prime video's video usage?As disney hotstar works fine

The issue started appearing only after firefox update to 104.x versions

There is a new update for Firefox Release 105.0.1, does the issue still occur for you @shaleenbathla?

The firefox update has not appeared in fedora yet, not in default configuration atleast.
I will try to enable any nightly build or something to upgrade as soon as possible to the newer firefox and retest.

On a Ubuntu VM on top of my machine, it works with firefox 105.0.1
So, I think you can close the issue
I will reopen a new issue if it won't work when fedora gets the firefox update to stable repos
