Thank you for reporting this issue, I was able to reproduce it. The drop down menu does not appear when hovering over Movies, TV Shows, News.

Tested on:
• Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 109.0a1 (2022-11-28) / Firefox Release 107 / Chrome Version 107.0.5304.122
• Operating System: Windows 10

Notes:

  1. Reproducible on both Firefox Release and Nightly, regardless of the ETP status
  2. Not reproducible on Chrome
  3. Connection is not secure until cookies consent is accepted and the page is refreshed:

This is a duplicate of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1785412

The site is using this.dom.elDropdown.ariaExpanded = 'true',, which is not enabled yet (setting accessibility.ARIAReflection.enabled to true makes the menus work as expected)

We can consider shipping an intervention in the meantime

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1824980 has been shipped in Nightly, can confirm that this is working as expected and will be fixed in release once the patch reaches it. Removing the sitepatch label
