Plans

The nominal v1.1 release with support for JATS 1.1 and BITS 2.0 happened on schedule on Apr 11 2016 (with a couple of emergency patches over the week following).

Its progress was tracked on ToDoList although there is no telling what that page says now.

Further plans:

• Addressing remaining desiderata as described on ToDoList
• Enhancements to all the CSS in authoring (XML) and presentation layers (HTML, EPUB)
• Requirements development for further UI enhancement - survey? usage patterns? JATS4R Schematron?
  • Or document how to install this without bundling?
• More better documentation - what do people need?
  • E.g. how to install NCBI Style Checker
• XSL-FO stylesheet that can run through FOP (latest version) to produce 'galleys'
