The Provisions for the Transition from WMO Information System (WIS) 1.0 and Global Telecommunication System to WIS 2.0 was approved at INFCOM-3 and then endorsed at EC-78.
The publication (WMO-No.1323) is now accessible online at the following link: https://library.wmo.int/idurl/4/69050.
One of the decisions is that the Manual on the Global Telecommunication System (WMO-No. 386) will no longer be updated from 31 December 2024. At the same time, MetNo and VolC1 will not be updated starting 1 January 2025.
