Revision scoring (i.e. the rating of individual revisions of MediaWiki pages) has been released as a service:
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Revision_scoring_as_a_service . It is not available for Commons or Wikisource but for enwiki and Wikidata and may be useful for us in some way, though I am not sure yet how precisely. Putting it here to keep it in mind should we eventually need something like this.
