Bug: node SDK client "Get TypedArray info failed"

Describe the bug

I'm having issues running the @xmtp/node-sdk client. The documentation is minimal, so I'm probably doing something wrong. I keep encountering: Get TypedArray info failed code: "InvalidArg". This is in a minimal test environment with a private key, ethers, and the node lib. Any tips?
