It would be great to extend the new Activity widget coming in WordPress 3.8 (depending on how extendable is actually is).

We could add a Configure option to this widget and allow additional contexts (made available via WP_Stream_Query) to be displayed.

It looks like the Activity widget is not extendable at all, but could very easily be made so. Looks like a cheap way to get my name on the 3.9 list, if they go for it. I can see a great case for not allowing additions to that widget. Everyone would throw crap in there.
