In Debian, I had to apply the following patch:

https://anonscm.debian.org/git/pkg-ocaml-maint/packages/ocaml-extunix.git/tree/debian/patches/0002-Fix-installation-on-bytecode-architectures.patch

The logic of conditioning the installation of dll*.so files on has_native_dynlink is plain wrong.
