Writing a Course

- Make sure you don't cover material, try to let the reader uncover the material.
- Teach concepts in the course, give the common sense in practice problems. See FAQ for a first grade example.
- Hints should preferably be a question, in the effort to guide the reader's thoughts.
- Never give away part of the answer or solution in a hint.
- No manipulation or action is "obvious". Always show every step, no matter how simple.
- Whenever something is not at all obvious, write about why you're doing it.
- If you are only able to be doing something because certain conditions exist, state them.
