This is a very simple application used to store Motion Pictures. You can get the application running if you have docker. Simply run the following command, and then open up a browser to http://localhost:8080.
docker-compose up --build
This folder contains the services necessary to run the application.
This folder contains the backend api, and database setup information.
Navigate to ./services/api/db
to view the create.sql file for the basic layout of the database. However, this
application was created using Entity Framework Core Code First.
This folder contains the client, and some basic cypress integration tests.
If you want to run these without Docker, then you would have to run each application indvidually, and wire up the following:
-
Adjust the connection to the database for the API by changing the connection string in the
./services/api/appsettings.json
file. Currently, the connection string is being pulled from an environment variable. -
Adjust the connection to the API from the Client. The Client needs to point to the URL of the api. That can be changed in the
.env
file in./services/client
