Based on what I'm seeing in: https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/project/new_ci_build_permissions_model.html#job-token

It really does look like its possible for lab to "just work" if we allow configuration through the gitlab ci environment variables. This could make open MRs from CI really easy.
