Describe the feature
This ticket proposes the creation of a system to support different languages/locales within the Zed editor, for illustration, having the interface in Chinese or Spanish.
The feature could take the form of a translation API used by the interface to fetch a text (see GNU gettext or native solutions for inspiration), as well as another API and markup to create the translations (Crowdin, PO files, etc).
If this feature is considered, I would be glad to let you know that I am voluntary to begin the French translation and the Spanish one.
