Nix is great, but I feel it would be better to support it from outside our repository just like all other distributors (eg. arch, void, homebrew, etc.)
After hearing no dissenting opinions in #2008, I'm removing support for it from our repository.
If there is any support I can offer someone from the nix community to add an alternative (that does not involve placing assets in our repository :)) - I'd be happy to provide it.
