I had an Aqara temperature sensor die on me and I seem unable to remove it from the Zigate. Deleting the device from Domoticz left it in provREQ Status (unclear what that means exactly) |

I also tried removing three Aqara Motion Sensors (which I am no longer using) and even though I receive this in the log: Is there any way to remove these manually @pipiche38 ? I have a ZiGate Classic with WiFi |

The best is now, to restart the plugin , all entries will be removed, and then while making sure the Zigate is not in pairing mode, you simply reset the Aqara temperature device. In that case it will send a leave message and get removed from the Zigate. In all cases, you cannot do more as , only the device itself can me removed from the coordinator |

@pipiche38 unfortunately the temperature sensor is dead so no way of resetting it. Does this mean there is no way of ever removing it? Restarting the plugin requires a Domoticz restart yes? If so after the restart all devices (including the temperature sensor and the 3 motion sensors I deleted from Domoticz) just return to the plugin but are gone from Domoticz. I tried manually removing the devices from Data/Devicelist-24.txt (as that's were the logs say the plugin gets it's data from) and they are now gone from view BUT I get errors for the 4 devices I removed: So it seems the Zigate itself still thinks these devices are there. Any help removing them would be very much appreciated. |

yes, this is how it works, if the End Device is dead , then it will remain in the Zigbee controller and will use a slot in the Trust Center.
Some Coordinators (CIEs) implement a force removal function, but that is not the case on Zigate for now.
