Major update using tinytuya for all plugs versions #63
base: master
Are you sure you want to change the base?
Conversation
for now this is just a drop in replacement, but since this new lib offers some discovery functionality as well as a dual mode (local or cloud)
Changed version 3.3 by 3.4
Updated version number (will load default values)
Will force to erase old data from your previous installation
You only now need to insert you tuya api key and secret in settings. After, do M1234 in gcode terminal. It may take a while. Refresh your browser window and go back to your settings. Your plugs should now be there.

Hey there @ziirish, I've you had a look to the pull request. I put quite a lot of work to make it happen. Would be nice for other to profit. I guess many tuya plugs are now incompatible with the current version. This pull request fix that and add many other functionnalities. You can look at this video for a quick look at what I programmed : http://moduloinfo.ca/tuyavideo.mp4 |
Still there, please consider making me a collaborator. I could sort some trouble out. |
Hi @ziirish, I've worked on the project and get it working with newer versions of tuya plug using tinytuya library. Used the autodiscovery option. Go see the video on top of the readme file. It work quite well and it's easier to set. Thanks for your work :)
