My Gnome Software console tells me that the editor can access all my files and change permissions on the system... plus: I tried CTL-s and then adding the Directory <~/Documents/foo.txt> But it doesn't like it |

Please only put one question in each post. I will ignore your second question. The reason GNOME thinks it can read all of your files is because it can. I'm not sure why that's an issue. The entire point of a file editor is to read and edit the files on your system. |
