cmi5 Test Suite - Review cmi5 testing working documents
The ADL is using a new process thru TREX (Training and Readiness Accelerator) to get proposals for cmi5 Test Suite development from the vendor community. (see the following link):
Submissions are due June 12, 2020.
The in preparation for this effort the group reviewed past working documents and curated the following list for those who might be submitting proposals:
- cmi5 Testing Procedures - Working Draft June 2018
- cmi5 Testing Requirements Document - Working Draft
cmi5 Spec Errata
The group corrected reference errors and provided clarifying language for masteryScore per the following issue:

The group added talking points for the the LMS Process flow chart (one section per box) as follows:
Prepare for Launch
LMS must create a state document with launch parameters - See Sections (_____)
LMS must create an agent profile document with learner language preference specified (and may provide an audio on/off preference also). - See Sections (_____)
LMS sends Launched Statement - See Sections (_____)
Content Launch LMS must have a service (Fetch URL) to provide an authentication token for access to the LRS. See Sections (_____) LMS creates a URL launch line with LRS connect string parameters (including a reference to the Fetch URL) The LMS launches the content using one of the following methods:
- Redirects the Browser window to the launch URL
- Redirect to an iFrame to the launch URL
- Spawns a new window
