Just a minor correction to the front panel for Chilly Cheese.

V2 + Accuracy Update!

Hey everyone! So sorry it's taken me so long to do the update for my Cold Mac emulation Chilly Cheese to VCVrack V2!

Believe it or not, I received a tons of useful feedback from Trent of Mannequins, and I'd been so swamped with classwork and workwork that I hadn't had time to get to doing the update until now! The module should be a lot more accurate to the physical module now! Updates include:

* New front panel tweaks to be prettier / punny-er, and made normalling icons clearer
* Analog-style clipping for the Cheese output
* Fixed buggy Macro CV behavior @idkreina observed, should respect full range now - thanks for the report!
* Tweaked integrator "sluggish" slope to exactly match the coefficient found by Trent
* Made various optimization/coding improvements Trent suggested
* Fixed erroneous normalling from AND2 to OR2, this was inaccurate
* Added tooltips when you mouse over the different jacks, they now also tell you where they are normalled to as well :D

Also, one fun piece of trivia Trent gave me is that they measured the integrator on the physical module and gave me the exact approximation of how fast it should be in the digital realm, so if you're going for maximum Cold Mac compatibility, set it to "Sluggish" mode via the right-click menu 😃

Trent also gave me some info on the exact model of envelope follower they used in Cold Mac is, so I still need to work on implementing a more accurate model in the not-so-distant future, but didn't want to delay this update any further mucking about with filter models, and the follower works fine as is IMO :slight_smile:

Official Library Release!

Time for the official launch of my freebies library! It should be online soon! I'll keep this page up to date with releases for those who'd prefer not to use the library.

I plan on making many more free plugins in the future, but for now there's just Chilly Cheese :P

Speaking of Chilly Cheese, it now has a snazzier svg with tips for the normallings. "+" means +5v, "-" means "-5v", and "M" means it's normalled to the macro knob - these are the same as on the newer version of Cold Mac, just M instead of S.

Chilly Cheese Beta 5

New beta (hopefully the last one, unless new bugs are discovered - message me if you find some!). The envelope follower is now exponential and more accurate to the physical module - thanks so much to a kind cold mac owner who was willing to show me oscilloscopes of it's curves - I actually don't own the cold mac module myself (or any physical eurorack, haha).

Gonna upload to the official library soon after I finish the (short) documentation, though it's essentially identical to the physical module cold mac so the documentation should be compatible.

Thank you so much everyone so far for your wonderful feedback and support - it's amazing to finally be releasing my code to the world, and a lot of fun - so excited to see music you make with this module ^_^

Chilly Cheese Beta 3 Hotfix

Just a quick fix to the SVG file to prevent visual glitching.

UPDATE: Got a fancy new github thingy that automagically makes the releases every time I update the source, so now we will always have windows, mac, and linux builds - super neat!

Chilly Cheese Beta 3

Another quick update - certain feedback patches could cause the module to freeze up and stop producing any cheese due to infinity high voltages jamming the dcblockers. I think I've fixed it now, though please let me know if that isn't the case!

A quick update to fix the (admittedly cool) wonky behavior of the envelope follower - this new envelope follower is a lot closer to how an analog envelope follower behaves (and at much more appropriate voltage levels). May make further tweaks to this in the future :)
