It's now possible to create Rush! maps using the osu! stable beatmap editor.

  1. Create a new osu! standard beatmap for your favourite song
  2. Add timing points, etc.
  3. Add the "crafted" tag to the beatmap options
  4. Follow the instructions in the xmldoc here: RushCraftedBeatmapConverter.cs

Example beatmap is attached.

Added:

  • Ground animation
  • Beatmap statistics

Fixes:

  • Miniboss can no longer be hit before the player reaches it.
  • Jumps can now be triggered just before landing, fixes some annoying cases of missed jumps.
  • Sawblade damage now displays properly.
  • Dual hits no longer consume actions, fixes not being able to jump in front of missed notesheets.
  • Fixed notesheets sometimes showing a hold animation even if missed.
  • Fixed notesheet caps not always hiding when judged.

Note:

  • There is a known regression with dual hits sometimes consuming future actions, will fix in a release later today.
