As of update 3.1.0, BlockSniper implements completely custom trees that are randomly generated using several properties that may be set by the user. A new UI section was added for the trees. To access this section, use the /brush (or /b) command, and click the Tree
button. The options for creating the custom trees will be displayed there.
Placing the trees is the same as it always has been. Set the brush type in the brush menu to Tree
and start using your brush item as you usually would.
The trees have a couple configurable properties. More may be added over time if requested.
Property | Description |
---|---|
Trunk Blocks | Trunk blocks are the blocks to use for the trunk of the tree. Multiple blocks may be separated using commas (,) |
Leaves Blocks | Leaves blocks are the blocks to use for the leaves of the tree. Multiple blocks may be separated using commas (,) |
Trunk Height | Trunk height is the height of the trunk of the tree. The leaves may reach slightly higher |
Trunk Width | Trunk width is the width of the trunk at the base of the tree. The width decreases further up |
Maximum Branch Length | Maximum branch length is the max length branches of the tree may be. They may get generated shorter than this size |
Leaves Cluster Size | Leaves cluster size is the size that one ball of leaves at the end of a branch should be. It is the radius of this ball |
