Copying the Game Folder Files

After Wabbajack has completed its full installation we must now do some manual file copying to make sure that SKSE, DLL Plugin Loaders, 3D Audio Fixes & the included Reshade are properly setup in your Skyrim VR Install Folder:

1. Navigate to X:\Yggdrasil VR\ (Or whatever your decided to name your install folder) then into the Game Folder Files subfolder (the path at the top of File Explorer should look like X:\Yggdrasil VR\Game Folder Files).

2. Select all the files, right click and select Copy. Now go over to your base Skyrim VR folder (Not the Yggdrasil folder!), if you set up a Steam Library for your fresh install like you were earlier instructed to it should be located in a folder named similarly to X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\SkyrimVR then right click and Paste the files. If asked to overwrite any files choose YES.

Setting up MO2

Now it’s time to open Mod Organizer 2. Navigate to X:\Yggdrasil VR\ and open the MO2 - Yggdrasil.exe executable. If you see a window talking about "setting up MO2 to handle nxm links", press Yes. Your MO2 window should look similar (though not identical) to the screenshot underneath:

Setting up Physical Sneaking

There are a couple of mods we need to set up in the next steps, however one of the most important ones is Auto Sneak and Jump VR, which does not have an in-game menu.

If you are unable to play standing, or just prefer playing sitting down, you can just untick the box next to Auto Sneak and Jump VR in the left panel in MO2 and skip on to the next step. You will need to adjust your height offset in the VRIK MCM menu later and adjust your difficulty, but we'll come back to that later.

1. You need to use the filter bar at the bottom of MO2, and type in "Auto Sneak". This will show the Auto Sneak and Jump VR mod at the top of the list. Right click it, then press the last entry - Information....
2. Once the window opens, move to the INI Files tab and select the only .ini file in the list on the left.

To figure out correct values, disregard the comments in the file, get your (metric) height and substract 0.40 to get your HeightChangeThreshold value, and 0.15 for the JumpThreshold. For example if you’re 1.90m your HeightChangeThreshold should be 1.50 or so and JumpThreshold around 1.75).

Test the values in-game, and adjust accordingly after the installation is complete.
