It looks like GitHub wont let me change the target branch of a PR, maybe? So I might have to close this PR and create a new one against 1.5 once you're done your merge @cccs-RyanS? Not a big deal if that's the case... There is also an upstream PR for this.

I'm going to hold off on this merge - it looks like the change is getting cherry-picked to the 1.5 branch and will be in the 1.5.1 tag. If that's the case, I will close this PR and delete my branch.
