Varying Inter Record aggregation operator

MyTable(date:, cmd:, value:, hour_of_day: ) :- WeatherTable(..) 
# cmd is string "Min"/"Max", value is single float value . I need to group by on date and cmd  
# and  aggregate using  min or max  on the value field  based on cmd.

MyFinal(date:, cmd:, val? Max or Min based on cmd  = value)  distinct :- 
                              MyTable(date:, cmd:, value:, hour_of_day);
