Atari 1027
The Atari 1027 printer was licensed by Atari from 1983 until 1985, from Mannesmann-Tally, where it was originally the Riteman-LQ.
It is a unique letter quality printer that uses a print-head shaped very similarly to a mechanical rubber stamp, except the individual characters arranged on its surface could be shifted directly into orientation with the printer. Because the print-heads were made of rubber, they decay over time and become completely unusable, thus most every Atari 1027 printer today is not in working order.
There is only one font on this printer, Prestige Elite, at 10 characters per inch, a font somewhat resembling Courier, but with softer overall lines.
