Hypha was mentioned in the Sovereign Tech Fund's Feasibility Study
Hypha offers translations into another language or translations into your organisation's vocabulary, or a combination of both. Hypha has functionalities for adopters to localize their own version with Weblate or install another translation service if they prefer. Hypha also provides instructions for translators to edit directly with a text editor. This effort started in 2021 and continues to evolve.
From January to March 2022, Maintainers have been updating Hypha to Django 3.22 and the latest version of Wagtail. This long-term support is an effort to maintain deprecating software packages. This development effort is primarily for maintenance and involves rewriting parts of Hypha’s code to use replacement packages. These recent updates are critical measures to ward off potential glitches in the future.

In 2020 Torchbox completed a usability review of Hypha, and identified over 100 issues that negatively impact the user experience and bugs preventing the system functioning as intended. Maintainers worked to resolve a majority of these issues in 2021.
