I used a script to backport >800 missing entries from https://github.com/JabRef/jabref/blob/master/src/main/resources/journals/journalList.csv to
journal_abbreviations_general.csv.I manually checked ~270 entries where the abbreviations or journal names were not matching between this repository and
journalList.csv(mostly typos, missing or extra dots).From the list in JabRef/jabref#5749 (comment) I checked/backported the following:
