Matt and Michael discussed repository issues when working both in ACME and with the stand-alone code; MPAS-Atmosphere will be facing similar issues when working with CESM-MPAS and with stand-alone MPAS-Atmosphere. Git submodules don't appear to be a very good solution for development when there is a need to frequently switch branches and commit in submodules; rather, they seem like a solution intended for pulling in libraries that don't change frequently. Maybe on a future telecon, we can discuss difficulties with and possible solutions to repository bottlenecks

• PRs 1364, 1365, and 1378 have been approved and merged.
