Side Stories

School Idol Tomodachi allows you to watch the English side stories of all the cards available in the game. This is an initiative by Umida who recorded most of the first cards and still records the majority of the new cards.

If you own a card that is idolized and max bonded in the English version that currently doesn't have its side story, you can help us!

You can either:

Send a direct message on Twitter to @schoolidolu. db0 or Umida from the staff team will borrow your account for a few minutes to record the side story and give it back to you right away.

2. Record it yourself

You'll need a computer and you might need to install extra softwares to record the stories.

Requirements:

• Open the story once before recording to make sure that the images are pre-loaded for when you record it.
• Make sure you start recording once the background loaded but before the character appeared.
• Tap/click the screen to go to the next sentence only after the text has been completely displayed and the character stopped talking.
• Wait 1-3 seconds after the character finished their sentence to make sure you don't miss a part of what they're saying.
• Don't play with the menu, don't do anything else while the story is playing.
• If anything lags or has a weird behavior while you're recording, re-record the entire story.
• If you tap/click to go to the next sentence and realize too late that the character didn't finish their sentence, re-record the entire story.
• Stop the recording when the screen turns white, before it's completely white.
• I find it easier to record before and after and trim the video once it's ready.

Once you have the file, rename it with the following format: id first_name collection - name_of_the_story.
