Timed out road crossings and adjusted splits

Routegadget is an analysis tool rather than a results system. The preferred option should always be to use unadjusted split times. This means that timed out road crossings should be left in, as should any controls that are removed from a course for any other reason. You can add a comment when setting up the event to explain that the times are unadjusted.

If you do decide to use adjusted splits then you need to make sure that the number of controls in the course file matches the number of controls in the results. You should also be aware that the auto-adjust GPS route facility will not work correctly, and replays and Splitsbrowser will not be "correct" when using real time analysis.
