First to leave pre-release state, I consider the engine stable enough (not getting out of alpha yet though)

What's Changed

  • ci: add build ci by @SARDONYX-sard in #81
  • More automated Github Actions release stuff that @Monitor144hz totally did not spend 5 hours on learning/troubleshooting to save 5 minutes of packing every major update.
  • Implemented new Pandora patch format.
  • Fixed #78 (engine no longer tries pruning duplicate vanilla events/variables)
  • Fixed #57
  • Fixed #68 (use new Universal patch in downloads)

Changes

Fixed #62 (cause of #40, #25, #55, #52)
Fixed #60 which fixes #58

IMPORTANT:

For the first time since initial release, this update REQUIRES users to delete the "meshes" folder in any old Pandora output before launching this version. (THIS DOES NOT MEAN THE MESHES FOLDER IN DATA). You only have to do this once before the first successful run of this new version of the engine. Any future launches of the engine do not require you to clear old output manually.

REINSTALL ANY CUSTOM SKELETON MODS YOU HAD. Previous versions of Pandora mistakingly deleted any loose skeleton.hkx files because it just assumed they were old output, and I apologize for that. This includes mods like Baka ABC and Humanoid Vampire lord Bats power fix

Reminder that XPMSE needs patches for Pandora in order for blocking to look correct. Available here as optional downloads, install as separate mods

Deprecated graph injection (RIP)

Out-of-the-box FNIS support (Patches no longer needed for FNIS mods). Tentative and not fully tested so use at your own discretion and report any issues.

Minor bug fixes

Messaging improvements:

  • Displaying FATAL (engine failure) level errors in messagebox instead of just the log file.
  • Displaying new animation count for every patched project and total.
  • Displaying active FNIS and Nemesis/Pandora mods separately.

Graph injection may be gone, but now I know where to take development in terms of user demand. Some refactoring is in order, so this should be the last major release for a while.
