• capgen should keep cap names under 63 characters (12 hours) #337
  • Mike has opened a PR (https://github.com/NCAR/ccpp-framework/pull/455) that implements this cap on suite name length.
  • Is there a better way to go about testing framework changes? Running the entire weather model regtest seems wasteful in this case.
    • Mike will try out the testing in tests/ directory, and contact Dom to walk through the process if necessary. Then he will document the process for future users.

Other business

• Steve is leaving this continent
• JEDI may be adopting CCPP standard names conventions. Still need final approval from on high.
