CCPP Framework

• PR 463: Support multiple concurrent instances per MPI task
  • We need to define the size of the "initialized" array in the prebuild config, This is on Mike's to-do list
    • Initial version: https://github.com/mkavulich/ccpp-framework/tree/jm-pr-multiple-instances-of-ccpp-physics
    • It doesn't appear possible to draw this from the CCPP config file
  • Steve still has question from his non-approval comment: "Can the CCPP governance committee please issue a statement on this requirement

Discussion: We don't want to put this in as a "requirement", but we don't want to stand in the Navy's way. Dustin is working on making Ozone etc compatible with Navy's model of statelessness.

GIANT hackathon (aerosol/chemistry interface)

• How should CCPP participate?
• GIANT wants participants to be the prescribers of how/why things are done.
  • Pairing people together outside of their interested group to try to identify and tackle the problems involved
