Since issue #348 has been corrected with ncio/1.1.2, the GSI is ready to move forward with using this updated version. This version has been tested on Hera, Orion, and WCOSS1. Unfortunately, updating gsi_common.lua with ncio/1.1.2 will cause the GSI to fail to compile on WCOSS2.

The purpose of this issue is to keep track on when ncio/1.1.2 has been added to WCOSS2 and to update gsi_common.lua with this new ncio version once it is available there.
