Critical fix needed: With the change to using the compile_upp.sh for building standalone UPP, the ${POSTEXEC} variable should be updated to point to the new location, e.g. UPP/tests/install/bin.

A few other minor updates for the release should be made as well:

  • instances of EMC_post changed to UPP
  • warning message if binarynemsmpiio format
  • Add parallel netcdf format option
