In this wiki we will describe the BFFI modeling principles, its differences with the BIBFRAME data model, mapping principles (especially with the BIBFRAME and RDA models), conversions of library data to and from this format, its planned use in the future National Metadata Repository Melinda, etc.

The target audience of this documentation is primarily library system administrators, library system providers and modellers. The model is available for viewing at https://schema.finto.fi/bffi/. We will publish version information and technical changes on LKD Github and usage instructions in Finnish on the LKD wiki.
