Desired Changes

We want to have a new welcome page for users that visit FinishLine. Upon visiting the site, users should be brought to a page with two boxes side-by-side. The left box should be for applying to NER and should have a Learn More button which should not do anything right now. The right box should be for exploring the rest of the FinishLine website as a guest and should have a button saying “FinishLine”.

We want this page to show up every time a user logs in as a guest. The sidebar should be hidden from users on the welcome page and there should be some kind of welcome text.

Acceptance Criteria

  • This page of finish line shows up everytime the user logs in as a guest
  • The main page of FinishLine shows two boxes that users can click on to either apply to NER or go to the homepage of FinishLine
  • The sidebar should be hidden on the welcome page
  • A welcome text is displayed at the top of the page
