Welcome to TALLSorts!

TALLSorts is a T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (T-ALL) subtype classifier, taking gene expression counts and making predictions into 8 subtypes. It is built on our previous work on ALLSorts, a B-ALL subtype classifier.

Please see the installation steps for instructions on getting started.

TALLSorts is published in Blood Advances; please cite us if you use TALLSorts.

Hierarchical classification

TALLSorts now supports a hierarchical classification design. Samples are first sorted into at least one "Level 1" subtype. Samples belonging to certain may then be sorted into a further "Level 2" subtype. And so on. Currently the default TALLSorts model provides for the following subtype hierarchy:

  • BCL11B
  • HOXA (KMT2A)
  • HOXA (MLLT10)
  • NKX2
  • TAL/LMO
    • TAL2
  • TLX1
  • TLX3
  • Diverse

Future work

TALLSorts is undergoing active development. Please check back regularly for updates, and suggest improvements, report bugs or request new features!
