This adds more consistent and uniform rendering for that text in math blocks, removing uneven spacing between the letters.

Based on the discussion in #839, I have added
\mathitto all the multi-letter variable names in math blocks in the three books. This is to fix some slight kerning issues when type-setting the maths.\mathitinstead of\textitbecause it seems to give similar results, but should be more correct for math blocks.In addition to adding
\mathitaround those variable names, I also formatted the paragraphs to fix the length of the lines so that it was consistent with the rest of the text.
